The main goal of this project is to encourage learning and collaboration in the fight against climate change. To meet the growing need for accessible information, project partners created regional and national case studies focusing on climate and environmental protection. These studies, originally developed through the C4CC project, were expanded into multimedia formats, making it easier to share and adapt them across different European countries.
As part of the project, perpetual wall calendars and an interactive online climate map were produced (which are accessible through this platform). These serve as gateways to a wide range of educational and practical resources that could be used by various groups, from educators to community leaders, in different settings.
Feedback from earlier activities indicated that local resources could be valuable in other countries, but language barriers had made them difficult to use. There was also a popular suggestion to create a perpetual calendar not tied to a specific year, allowing it to be used year after year. In response, project partners and new collaborators created this reusable calendar. They translated national content into English, updated outdated information, and integrated everything into a new EU-wide climate map.
This project targets people of all ages, focusing on educational institutions. The goal was to reach a broad audience by encouraging teachers, decision-makers, and community leaders to act as ambassadors. By sharing these tools, printing the calendars, and linking the online climate map, the resources can be spread across Europe.
Priority 1: Environment and fight against climate change
The project focuses entirely on climate change. Each month features different topics, such as energy efficiency in February and ecology in March. Every month includes information, local case studies, and practical activities for individuals, groups, or families.
Priority 2: Addressing digital transformation through developing digital readiness, resilience and capacity
Developing an online map and features for the C4CC app represents significant digital innovation. The app's open-source nature allows other organizations to use and advance the code while users gain valuable digital experience.
Priority 3: Creating and promoting learning opportunities among all citizens and generations
Translating national climate change content into English makes all the created resources accessible to English speakers, whereas creating a perpetual calendar and an EU map with resources provides sustainable learning opportunities for all ages. Finally, promotion to educators, learning institutions, and public bodies ensures the materials reach the right audience and build on previous successes from the C4CC project.
The project aims to create a broad impact by influencing various groups and fostering connections across Europe:
Climate Map project is currently being developed and promoted by a team of 6 partner organisations from Germany, Ireland, Malta, Croatia, Italy, and Cyprus.

Dante started its activity in 1991. At first, the only language we taught was Italian. However, the desire to progress was strong from the very beginning, so we soon expanded our offer to other foreign languages. Today, in addition to language courses, we implement EU projects and organize various professional trainings. Also, we offer the possibility of organising travels and foreign language trainings at universities abroad, which is the best way to explore countries you always wanted to visit and learn or improve your language skills.

Together for Solidarity, born in 2008, is enrolled in Regional/National Registers of Volunteer Organisations, with relevant experience at local level. In its history, aimed at supporting and encouraging civic participation of the over 65s, a distinction between pre-Covid and post-Covid is important. In fact, the Association has gone from around 300 volunteers to the current 85, and the reasons are unfortunately easily deduced. It was associate partner of Speha Fresia in C4CC, participating in the project developments, and therefore ready to be involved as an effective partner in the Climate Map.
